Digital Forensics at George Mason

The Digital Forensics program at George Mason University was established in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to address the growing need for forensic and cybersecurity education within the federal workforce.

Initially launched as a graduate certificate, the program expanded rapidly and was approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) in 2009 as one of the first M.S. programs in Digital Forensics in the nation.
